Something I’ve been really into lately is skin care. As I’m getting older I am noticing the importance of taking care of my skin. I literally had no idea how important it was until I started talking to more women about their skin care routines. As someone who spends majority of their spare money on makeup I love tend to stick to my go to items. Thankfully to my Sephora and IPSY monthly subscriptions I have been introduced to new items I never would of thought to try. I will list some I found below as well as a few I found on my own.

Here are my 5 current favorites for this month:

  1. SEPHORA COLLECTION Mud Mask Purifying & Mattifying $20; I’ve been curious to try a mud mask and this one was definitely a good one to start with. It left my skin feeling soft and clean and the product dried pretty fast. The only thing I will say about this product is that it has a bit of a funky smell but other than that I love it!
  2. LANEIGE Water Sleeping Mask $25; I received this item twice in my Sephora Play! box and kind of forget about it until recently. During winter my skin tends to get dry in certain areas on my face and I was looking for a moisturizer in my vanity when I stumbled across it. I saw it was an overnight mask and as soon as I put it on it felt so nice and cool. It doesn’t have a heavy feeling and it has a nice moisture to it which is probably what makes it water. I get worried about trying certain moisturizers since my skin sometimes breaks out randomly. When I woke up I noticed my skin was feeling great and I was pimple free! So happy I have two samples to tie me over til I have to buy a full size one!
  3. Farmacy Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm $34; I received this item in my Sephora Play! box and this is by far one of my most favorite items ever!!! I’ve always struggled to find the perfect makeup remover and felt like nothing ever fully got makeup off until I tried this! I swear this thing is magical because I can’t believe how well it works.
  4. Castor Oil Cold Pressed USDA Organic $12 on Amazon; My eyelashes are getting a bit sparse these days and as much as I would love to get eyelash extensions. They’re just not in the budget these days. I love wearing fake eyelashes but don’t have the patience to wear them everyday, so what options do I have left? Castor Oil! This has been such a game changer in helping my eyelashes grow back. I’ve noticed a difference within a week! I am happy to say they do make a difference since with just adding a little mascara they look fuller.
  5. R+CO High Dive Moisture + Shine Creme. The one is kind of a funny story! So this one is not for the face but I accidentally used it on mine. This is actually for hair and gives such a nice moisture when the hair is getting a dry. However, it did make my skin feel nice and moisturized too without clogging up my pores! I will not do that anymore though! If you’re looking for a new leave in conditioner I highly suggest this one! Plus it smells amazing!
