Teal loves Gold is an upcoming clothing line for every girl out there. Not only are they two of my favorite colors but I feel like it has so much meaning to me. The way I see TLG can be translated into a story about a girl named Teal who is envious of Gold because she’s confident, radiating and not afraid to be herself. Putting her ego behind Teal quickly learns to love Gold and she too becomes the fearless leader. I see Teal and Gold in all of us maybe some may lean towards a certain color more than the other but at the end of the day were all just equal and all can be gold in our hearts.
Why Teal Loves Gold is special to me is because while growing up I struggled with an eating disorder for about 10 years. It became such a huge part of me and I struggled with body issues for so long. Finally learning to separate from such a huge part of my life I became interested in fashion and working out. I still think about it every day but my rekindled love with working out and fashion gets me through it. TLG also stands for To Live Good which is something I’m striving to do everyday.
Thus speaking, I wanted to create a brand that every girl can rock and feel comfortable in. Also a place where I can share my fashion finds/photography/life with you all creatively.
